True Refrigeration TUC-44-HC~SPEC3 Description

The True TUC-44-HC~SPEC3 undercounter freezer has two adjustable shelves that measure 25 inches wide by 27 3⁄4 inches deep and are constructed of heavy-duty, PVC-coated wire. This wire construction creates gaps through which air can flow and evenly cool stored product. The shelves are adjustable in 1⁄2-inch increments to accommodate a variety of items. The interior walls are lined with—and the floor is made of—stainless steel for durability and swift cleaning. Coved corners in the floor eliminate cracks, preventing debris from getting trapped and harboring bacteria.

The temperature in the cabinet can be set to a level between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit using the electronic controller. The refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—an eco-friendly alternative to traditional options—to maintain these temperatures. This True TUC-44-HC~SPEC3 deep undercounter freezer has a positive-sealing door that swings within the dimensions of the cabinet. To withstand heavy use, the door handle is made completely of metal. A lock on the door keeps stored items secure and protected from potential tampering.

To lengthen the unit’s overall lifespan and optimize performance, the compressor’s fan motor blows air in reverse for 20 seconds every cycle; this function removes any dirt that’s settled on the condensing coil.
