True Refrigeration TUC-44-HC Description

The True TUC-44-HC undercounter refrigerator comes with two adjustable shelves that resist corrosion with their PVC coating. The wire shelves have gaps that encourage complete air circulation. The door is lined with clear aluminum and has a stainless-steel exterior. Cleaning around the door is simplified by the one-piece, magnetic gasket, which can be removed without tools. The 12-inch-long handle on the door has a recessed design, preventing it from taking up aisle space.

Temperatures in this unit can be set by the operator at a level between 33- and 38-degrees Fahrenheit. Insulation in the True TUC-44-HC deep undercounter refrigerator is foamed in place with high-density polyurethane, strengthening the cabinet structure and retaining cold air. GalFan coating on the exterior steel back resists corrosion, and there is a stainless-steel construction on the ends, top, and front. Locks on the front set of 5-inch-diameter stem castors keep the unit in place when necessary.

The compressor’s fan motor runs in reverse for 20 seconds each time it starts up; this mechanism blows away any dust, debris, or dirt that’s built up on the coil. This helps reduce energy consumption and keeps the condensing coil clean over time. Though this feature improves performance and lengthen the unit’s lifespan, it shouldn’t replace regular preventive maintenance
